A nutrition website from the NUTRIUM preventive nutrition centre of the Université de Montréal, Extenso provides objective interpretation and efficient circulation of current scientific knowledge on nutrition.

 


The Douglas is a world-calibre institution, affiliated with McGill University and the World Health Organization, whose mission is to care for people suffering from mental illnesses and to offer them hope and healing. The Institute’s teams of specialists and researchers are constantly adding to scientific knowledge, integrating it into the care offered to patients and sharing it with the community in order to raise awareness and to reduce the prejudices surrounding mental illness.

 


In March, the population of Québec is invited to consult a dietician/nutritionist for information or advice by dialling toll-free 1 866 233-3310. Organized by the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec.

 

 
ÉquiLibre is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and reduction of weight and body image-related issues within the general public through actions that encourage and facilitate the development of a positive body image as well as the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits. The organization offers both adult and youth-oriented programs, conferences and resources. www.equilibre.ca

Community Health and Social Services Network
The network of community organizations, resources and public institutions striving to ensure access to health and social services in English for Quebec’s English-speaking communities.

 
  

Provincial competition in which elementary schools invite their students and members of their personnel to consume a minimum of 5 servings of fruit and vegetables each day for one week. Carried out by the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec.

 


Go, le Grand défi is a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage young people to adopt healthy life habits. The organization aims to engage Quebec schools in supporting physical activity, healthy eating and promoting school retention among children aged 6 to 12 years old.
